Washington and Oregon Issue Joint Guidance on PFML Programs

Washingtonstate and Oregon will primarily consider the place where work was performed indetermining which state’s paid family and medical leave (PFML) program appliesto an employee, according to a joint letter issued this month by the OregonEmployment Department and the Washington Employment Security Department.
