This year's HR Symposium is happening on May 3rd at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
The HR Symposium is always a great experience for all attendees, meeting and mingling with other HR professionals, sharing our HR experiences and our HR expertise, and learning about what's going on in our profession. A big bonus of the event is that much of the proceeds from the fees go towards providing scholarships for those studying to enter the human resources field.
More and more companies, and employees, are looking for purpose. Emotional intelligence and character-driven organizations are more adept at helping employees fullfil this need.
This year, keynote speakers and the panel of HR leaders drawn from premier Silicon Valley companies, will address key challenges and opportunities in this area, as well the innovative ways cutting-edge companies are creating great experiences for their employees.
Chris Yeh, the co-founder and General Partner of Wasabi Ventures, is back this year as the panel moderator. Chris has founded, advised, or invested in over 100 high-tech startups since 1995. He is also the co-author, along with Reid Hoffman and Ben Casnocha, of the New York Times bestseller, The Alliance: Managing Talent in the Networked Age.
