North Carolina Updates Mandatory Workplace Poster

Poster Includes Employee Classification Information
North Carolina has updated a mandatory workplace poster.
Updated Poster
There are two parts to the mandatory workplace poster: one covering wage/hour and employment discrimination and one covering occupational safety/health. Both parts are required to be posted in North Carolina workplaces.
The updated poster contains information on employee classification, in accordance with state law (see "Background" section below). The poster is available in English and Spanish.

Background
A law in North Carolina amended state posting provisions to add information about employee classification. These amended posting provisions are generally effective December 31, 2017. For additional provisions and information, click here to read the text of the law.
