Michigan Resumes Scheduled Minimum Wage Increases

New Rate Becomes Effective Jan. 1, 2022 On Dec. 2, 2021, Michigan’s Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) announced the state’s minimum wage rate will increase to $9.87 per hour ($3.75 for tipped employees) on Jan. 1, 2022.
