Human Resources Senior Generalist

HR Solutions Partners is looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to drive HR operations, and correlated functions of benefits administration, HRIS system administration, compensation programs, HR compliance, employee communications, and acts as liaison to staff payroll.

The position is also responsible for supporting recruitment activities throughout the organization as required, researching and assisting in development of various human resources policies/programs and functions as the focal point for data collection and reporting on standard HR metrics. This is a great opportunity for exposure to complex and non-standard facets of entity operations for an HR professional interested in expanding their portfolio of skills and capabilities.

  • Utilizes exceptional written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor, and business acumen while acting as the primary point of contact for HR transactional services.
  • Advises employees, retirees and management teams on first level interpretation and application of organizational policies, programs and procedures.
  • Administers health and welfare plan administration for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, 401K, FSA, PTO and corresponding compliance filings.
  • Administers annual lifecycle compensation and benefit programs, including open enrollment, annual focal increases, performance management and bonus programs.
  • Investigates and proposes approaches for the resolution of specific policy, benefit plan design and procedural problems.
  • Partners with a mix of benefit carriers, benefit broker, and third party administrators (TPA’s) to develop and implement HR solutions for lifecycle systems including onboarding, benefits, compensation, and performance management.
  • Manages ADP Workforce Now 9.2 Suite HRIS, time and attendance and related databases to 100% data integrity; provides reports and analytics research to inform and support Human Resources practices.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholder departments such as Accounting/Legal and IT in order to support regular cycle activities including; Plan and program audits, accurate and timely Payroll change processing, HR/benefits expense allocations, 401k deferrals and loan management, worker’s compensation expense forecasting, corporate insurance renewals, PTO liability accrual reporting, and rollout supports for new stakeholder partner initiatives.
  • Provides quarterly statistical reports to management and HR Executives to track maintain and identify trends in HR metrics.
  • Manages Leave of Absence administration, workers compensation and interactive process in conjunction with federal and state regulations and Company policy.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholder on filings to state and federal agencies for ACA and EEO-1 reporting, ERISA Plan 5500 filings, municipal reporting/filing requirements, and west region state unemployment/disability claims.
  • Partners with Area leadership on employee communications with focus on training, organizational dynamics and enhancement of inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Coordinates team building, wellness and holiday events with focus on boosting morale and engaging and motivating staff.
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations through continuous monitoring of developing trends in benefits, retention/engagement and employment law that may be applied to the employee population; collaborates with HR staff to craft proposals for new or expanded programs consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborates on the developments and presentation of internal employee communications pertaining to compensation, benefits, company policies and new HR programs, delivered through multiple media such as printed materials, webinars and online portals, including the staff intranet.
  • Researches performance guidelines, HR metrics, policies, and procedures and makes recommendations for process improvement.
  • Supports recruitment and hiring portfolio activities necessary to maintains proper staffing levels and address operational requirements.
