Arizona: Minimum Wage Rises to $12.00 Per Hour Over the Next Several Years

Increases Begin January 1, 2017

A new law in Arizona provides for a rise in the hourly minimum wage to $10.00 per hour (from $8.05 per hour), effective January 1, 2017.

The law provides for additional yearly increases to the minimum wage rate as follows:

  • An increase to .50, on and after January 1, 2018;
  • An increase to .00, on and after January 1, 2019; and
  • An increase to .00, on and after January 1, 2020.
