WA Employers: Revised Workplace Posters Now Available

Employers Must Post 'Your Rights as a Worker' and Unemployment Benefits Posters

Washington has updated two mandatory posters: the "Your Rights as a Worker" and Unemployment Benefits posters.

Your Rights as a Worker Poster

The updated Your Rights as a Worker poster features information (in English and Spanish) regarding the state paid sick leave law, which takes effect January 1, 2018. The poster also contains information on other leave laws (e.g., the Washington Family Care Act), as well as wage and hour, wage payment, and meal and rest break laws.

Note that a separate state minimum wage poster is no longer required. Click here for other required workplace posters from the state Department of Labor and Industries.

Unemployment Benefits Poster

The mandatory Unemployment Benefits poster has also been revised. The poster informs employees of (among other things) how to apply for unemployment benefits.
